An understanding of cultural difference has become essential for effective intercultural communication in an increasingly global economy. When you finish this online course you will have a critical understanding of the relationship between culture and communication and how culture affects social and business relations in local and global contexts.

When you finish this online course you will be able to:

  • analyse and explain approaches to the study of culture and the impact of globalisation
  • apply theories of intercultural communication to real world examples
  • critically evaluate and interpret social and business interactions to identify intercultural communication issues.
