Courses are available on a trimester or open basis.
Open course workload - all our open courses have a credit value. For each credit, allow about 10 hours of study. Your workload may be higher around assessment due dates.
Trimester course workload - allow approximately 10-12 hours study time per week for each 20 credit course. Your workload may be higher around assessment due dates or exam time.
The credits and study type will be displayed on the course information web page for the course(s) you choose to enrol in.
Approximate cost for the full qualification based on 2017 fee information, not including annual administration fees, fee increases, textbooks, course materials or external exam fees.
Student loans are available for studying courses if you meet the criteria and enrol in the required number of credits/courses. Note: You will not be eligible if you enrol in only one course. Find out more about student loans

There are over 80 courses available to study as course only options in the following subject areas:
Depending on the courses you choose, you will gain skills and knowledge in areas like business, communication, environment, health, law and legal, library and information studies, management, psychology, real estate, and more. You will also be able to credit most courses towards relevant Open Polytechnic qualifications.
Courses are available on a trimester or open basis. The enrol by date will be displayed on the course information web page for the course(s) you choose to enrol in.
Open courses are open for enrolment every month. Each open course starts on the first Monday of the month you choose for enrolment. You must complete your study within the given start and end dates.
Trimester courses are available to enrol in and study over set periods, three times a year - Trimester 1, 2 or 3.
