Embracing your rainbow identify can have many positive impacts on your wellbeing. It might mean you have:
- increased confidence
- improved relationships with your friends and family
- a sense of community and belonging
- the freedom of self-expression and self-acceptance
- increased resilience.
It can also come with challenges, and some can experience issues with mental health. If you need support with your mental health we have two free counselling services available for you to use when you study with us.

Outline is an all-ages rainbow mental health organisation that provides support to the rainbow community, their friends, whanau and those who are questioning. You can talk to a member of the rainbow community who is trained to listen and answer your questions.
