Working on the understanding that much of today’s professional communication takes place in electronic environments, you will learn how to design, implement and measure communication projects and programmes. The emphasis is on stakeholder-based approaches, both inside and outside the organisation.

Topics covered include:

  • concepts of and roles within professional communication
  • scope and framework of public relations
  • situation analysis
  • objectives and measurement of communication effectiveness
  • public relations strategy and tactics
  • resource plans and ethics.

Assessment

This course is 100% internally assessed.
