Vaccination information update

Learners entering practicum placements from 5 April 2022 onwards are no longer required under the Government’s COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order 2021 to be vaccinated.

However, individual schools/ECE centres hosting practicums may still have vaccination requirements in place that Open Polytechnic learners, academic staff and adjuncts may need to adhere to.

If you are enrolling into a practicum course and are concerned about your ability to meet the requirements of the schools/ECE centres please contact TER@openpolytechnic.ac.nz to discuss your options.
