This online Urban Transport Planning course will teach you how to critically appraise transport planning concepts and procedures in the context of urban situations.

Learners who successfully complete this online course will be able to:

  •  Evaluate the factors of transport design in the context of urban development
  •  Critically assess the social, economic and environmental aspects of urban development and transport
  •  Critically evaluate the road network design of an urban development project
  • Review and appraise the concepts involved in the planning of transport networks

Assessment:

  • 60% internally assessed
  • 40% examination.
