Ākonga will continue to extend their knowledge and skills to read and interpret research and literature to support a critical analysis of an issue impacting the learning of tamariki and identify implications for developing the practice of kaiako.
Learners who successfully complete this course will be able to:
- Discuss the ethical principles and requirements of educational research and inquiry including Māori and Pacific methodologies.
- Discuss research and inquiry frameworks and their contribution to transformative teaching practice.
- Use a research and inquiry approach to examine a teaching dilemma or issue and communicate the findings.
