The Graduate Certificate in Library and Information Leadership will prepare you for a wide range of leadership roles within one or more of the professional sectors specialising in library and information services and management.
Graduates will be confident, culturally competent, and collaborative leaders, empowering and inspiring people, communities and organisations to reach their potential.
Graduates with majors in Information and Library Studies within the Bachelor of Applied Science or the Bachelor of Arts are not eligible to apply for admission to the Graduate Certificate.
Please note this programme can only be studied part-time for now. We will update full-time study options in Dec 2018.
Approximately 10-12 hours study per week for each 20 credit course. This may be higher at assessment or exam time.

This qualification is ideal for people in management roles and roles with a strategic focus designing and leading change. Possible career roles include library manager, digital services manager, service delivery manager, archives director, records manager or information manager.
The Graduate Certificate in Library and Information Leadership prepares graduates to enter postgraduate Diploma, Masters and PhD qualifications in related areas such as information management, education, management and community development.
