Qualification Structure

The Bachelor of Engineering Technology degree is made up of 360 credits, which can be gained by completing or gaining exemptions from all of the core courses and a selection of the electives.

The Bachelor of Engineering Technology Electrical and Electronic Engineering major has 24 courses, made up of:

  •  20 core and four elective courses, worth 15 credits each
  • five practice units
  • one work experience unit.

A maximum of 120 credits can be at Level 5 and a minimum of 90 credits must be at Level 7.

While the practice units and work experience unit provide no credits, they are an essential part of your degree. It cannot be completed without this requirement being met. The practice units are held on the Toowoomba campus of the University of Southern Queensland in Australia.

Note: If you have not completed MAT1500 need to complete ENM1600.
