Entry requirements
To gain entry into this programme you need to have NCEA L3, including:
- 14 credits in Physics at level 3
- 14 credits in Mathematics at level 3
- one other subject from the NZQA list of approved subjects with a minimum of 14 credits at level 3/
You also need to have:
- literacy – 10 credits at Level 2 or above, made up of 5 credits in reading and 5 credits in writing
- numeracy – 10 credits at Level 1 or above from specified achievement standards, or unit standards 26623, 26626, 26627
Your mathematics credits should be from AS91578 AS91579 AS91575, AS91577, AS91573.
Or you ned to have an equivalent courses or qualification.
International students
This qualification is not available to international students living in New Zealand or overseas, or to New Zealand students living overseas.
Computer and internet requirements
This programme is delivered online. To complete this programme you will need access to a laptop or desktop computer, reliable broadband internet connection and a data plan able to support online learning such as streaming of videos (including YouTube), downloading content, and writing and submitting online assessments.
