This course will:

  • introduce you to a wide range of pollution and waste management issues
  • provide you with the knowledge to assess and develop solutions for these issues
  • make you aware of modern environmental protection legislation and ethical considerations that form the background to engineering activity.

Assessment for this course is:

  • 30% internally assessed
  • 70% exam.
