Hydraulics Practice


Course code ENV2902

This course covers a range of experimental activities in the area of Hydraulics.  Students will conduct testing and experimental work in a team environment and analyse and present the subsequent results on an individual basis.

Laboratory sessions provide for a better understanding of relevant theory and calibration techniques for flow measuring devices through hands on experience.

Travel to Australia

Attending a practice unit at the University of South Queensland (USQ) in Australia is a requirement of this course.

Once you have decided on the practice unit you would like to attend we recommend you email us at beng.technology@openpolytechnic.ac.nz so we can arrange your placement with USQ on your behalf. Once we have confirmed your placement, we will notify you and then you can enrol in the course via our website.
