In this software testing course, you will learn how to apply programming skills to design and execute effective test cases for software applications.
Students who successfully complete this course will be able to:
- Compare a selection of testing methodologies
- Design a variety of tests including unit and system tests, usability testing, and user acceptance tests, incorporating a range of testing techniques
- Perform testing on a range of platforms that involves multiple devices and environments
- Execute tests using manual and automated software testing, and document results
- Demonstrate debugging processes, which includes debugging utilities, managing bug reports and issue tracking
- Implement performance and standards compliance testing
