This course is designed to provide you with an understanding of current global environmental issues. You will examine the major environmental issues facing the world today and critically examine responses and solutions developed by international fora.
Before enrolling in this course you need to:

Topics covered include major global environmental issues, including deforestation; biodiversity loss; atmospheric change; resource consumption; energy use; pollution and population pressures; biodiversity conservation; ecological sustainability; and the international politics of sustainability.
