Dr Nadia Sal

I am responsible for managing learning activities to achieve the delivery and completion of courses and programmes. I provide operational management of student learning supporters and a team of nine academic staff members. 

Programmes/Courses taught at Open Polytechnic

I have worked for over 15 years in the education sector. My career started as an English teacher and later to education management roles. From 2012-2017, I completed my PhD studies at Victoria University while teaching on the various papers for undergraduate and post-graduate students within the school of linguistics and applied language studies. From 2017, I have worked in a wellington based PTE called multicultural Learning Support Services as well as at YMCA’s national office where I designed, developed curricula and led teams of educators.

Relevant education and work experience

I am researcher, ESOL teacher, leader, advisor, social entrepreneur, activist, and community leader with solid experience in research, team leadership, and curriculum development within the education sector.
