I am very privileged to lead the Learner Engagement and Success Services for the Open Polytechnic, where we have a team of dedicated Student Mentors working directly with students to ensure they have every opportunity for success in their learning. The Open Polytechnic operates a tiered learning engagement and success model that includes 24/7 self-help resources, just-in-time communications and services, and long-term mentoring engagement for those who may require it.

I hold a Doctor of Education from the University of Canterbury and my research interests are in the emotional experiences associated with teaching and learning.
