We recommend you start by studying one course - LES501 Introduction to the Legal System.
This programme can only be studied one or two courses per study block, as per course availability and required pre-requisites.
Before you can enrol in LES603 Business Law and Practice and LES604 Property Law and Practice you need to pass:
- LES501 Introduction to the Legal System
- LES502 Law Office Practice.

Some courses in this programme have an exam, which are in-person. Please check the course page to see if there is an exam, and check the exam timetable before you enrol to ensure you can attend the exam. Exam dates and times are fixed and cannot be rescheduled, this includes if the exam is scheduled on a Regional Anniversary Day.

Maximum Programme Completion Time
To be awarded the qualification, the pass in the final paper must be achieved by a student no more than ten years after the year of first enrolment in the Diploma (or equivalent qualification), unless there are exceptional circumstances as determined by the Academic Registrar.
