Entry requirements

You must meet the general and language literacy admission requirements outline below. You may also be required to provide evidence that you have the capability to complete the programme requirements.

If you do not meet these requirements and believe you are capable for study at this level, you can apply but will need to provide relevant evidence to support your application.

Language literacy requirements

International applicants must provide evidence that meet one of the following English language requirements:

• IELTS score of 5.0 (general or academic) with no individual band lower than 5.0. This must be from one test taken in in the last two years, or
• An equivalent test described in NZQA’s rules. See our English Language Requirements information.   
  
  

Maximum programme completion time

To be awarded the qualification, you must complete it within four years of your first enrolment.

International students and domestic students living overseas

You can enrol in this programme if you are:

• an international student living in New Zealand and in paid employment with a valid work visa – for part-time study.
• an international student living overseas – in part-time or full-time study.
• a New Zealand citizen living overseas - in part-time or full-time study.

Computer and internet requirements

All courses in this programme are delivered online. This means, you will access the course content and submit assignments online.  For online learning and to complete assessments, you need to have regular access to a computer or device, and reliable internet access.
