What you will learn
When you successfully complete this course you will be able to:
- Explain the system of government and the creation and interpretation of laws in Aotearoa New Zealand
- Apply law relevant to contracts, fair business practices, competition, and consumer protection in the Aotearoa New Zealand context.
- Apply the law of negligence to situations in the Aotearoa New Zealand context
- Analyse the principles of ownership and risk associated with transfer of ownership in the Aotearoa New Zealand context.

- 50% internally assessed
- 50% exams.
