AchievementDr Negin Imani, Senior Academic Staff Member at Open Polytechnic, has published educational resources for school students based on her research into biomimetic (nature-inspired) shading systems and climate-responsive design.
Futurum Careers, an international educational platform featured by UNESCO, approached Negin to collaborate on this project.
Its resources showcase work from researchers at the world’s leading institutions and reach secondary school students internationally.
“It has been a valuable opportunity to translate my research and tertiary teaching experience into engaging learning materials for this wider international audience,” Negin says.
“I am pleased that the resource helps share this work more widely and also provides an opportunity to highlight the Open Polytechnic’s contribution to research, teaching, and education on a global stage.”
