The purpose of this online course is to reinforce understanding of LIMs.

Learners who successfully complete this course will be able to:

  • explain the licensee’s obligations in terms of the LIM
  • explain the lawyer’s role in terms of the LIM
  • describe the significance of the LIM at stages of the sale and purchase process
  • describe key red flags that can be found in a LIM
  • describe best practices in communication with sellers and buyers regarding LIMs.

This course covers 1.5 hours of verifiable training and will enable you to meet part of your continuing professional development (CPD) requirements as prescribed by the Real Estate Authority (REA).

Licensed real estate professionals must complete at least 10 hours of verifiable education each year.
