This online course will teach you to express mana tangata and mana reo by describing yourself and your family.
Learners who successfully complete this course will be able to:
- Ka whakamahia te mōhio ki ngā kupu hāngai me ngā rerenga kōrero māmā hei mārama ki ngā kōrero matua i te whakawhitinga kōrero ā-waha.Use knowledge of relevant vocabulary and simple sentence structures to understand key points in a spoken dialogue.
- Ka whakaaturia ngā pārongo ā-waha mā te whakamahi i ngā kupu hāngai me te whānui o ngā hanga rerenga kōrero tika. Present information orally using relevant vocabulary and a range of appropriate grammatical structures.
- Ka whakamahia te mōhio ki te whānui o ngā kupu me ngā hanga rerenga kōrero hei mārama ki tētahi tuhinga māmā. Use knowledge of a range of vocabulary and sentence structures to understand a simple written text.
- Ka whakamahia te whānui o ngā kupu me ngā rerenga kōrero māmā hei tuhi i tētahi kōwae poto. Apply a range of vocabulary and simple sentence structures to write a short paragraph.
