This course enable people working in the Real Estate industry to meet their continuing professional development (CPD) requirements as prescribed by the Real Estate Authority (REA).

This course is an introductory course to project management. It aims to develop a understanding of what the project manager role entails and it introduce basic principles and terms used for project management.

Students who successfully complete this course will be able to:

  • Describe methods and terminology relevant to project management
  • Plan a simple project including project timelines, budgets, a work breakdown structure and a resource chart
  • Deliver a simple project including the identification/management of risks/issues and the change process
  • Close out a simple project including a lessons learned and a handover to business and usual.
Licensed real estate professionals must complete at least 10 hours of non-verifiable training every year. This course covers 10 hours of non-verifiable training.

This course is 100% internally assessed.
