Gain an advanced knowledge of environmental policy and management with the Graduate Diploma in Sustainable Management (Level 7). Once you’ve achieved this qualification you will have the skills necessary to plan and conduct activities and programmes in a variety of environmental work streams. You will also have the ability to communicate complex environmental ideas and information in a professional way.
Approximately 10-12 hours study per week for each 20 credit course. This may be higher at assessment or exam time.

When you achieve this qualification you will be able to apply integrated resource management solutions to a diverse range of complex environmental problems. Combining your new project preparation and management skills with existing qualifications and experience will also prepare you for a variety of environmental work streams.
This qualification will prepare you for a career in central or local government as a planner or enforcement officer, working with public interest groups, iwi and runanga resource managers and in environmental management positions in the private sector.
