Important information for practicum enrolments
Please note that enrolments in practicum courses (EDU735 and EDU737) in this programme close four to nine weeks before the course opens. For specific dates, please select the course dates below.

You need to meet the deadline dates above to successfully enrol in the courses. If you don't you will be considered for the next intake.

If you have a qualification that has been awarded in any country other than New Zealand, Australia, Canada, the Republic of Ireland, South Africa, the United Kingdom, or the United States, you will need to have an International Qualification Assessment completed by NZQA. Programme Structure
This qualification consists of eight compulsory courses totalling 150 credits, which include six 15-credit courses and two 30-credit courses.
You need to complete all courses in the list below to graduate with this qualification.
The programme works in blocks of 16 teaching weeks.
A full-time workload for a block is three courses (60 credits). Part-time is a minimum of one course (15 credits).
New learners should select one, or both of these courses to start:
- EDU632 Communication Technology for Teachers
- EDU738 Technology Processes for Teachers
Completing these courses will ensure you can apply skills and knowledge to the principles and practices of technology as it is conceptualised and taught in New Zealand.
