English language requirements

International students must also have an IELTS (Academic or General) score of 5.0 with no band score lower than 5.0, or equivalent. 

Domestic students for whom English or Māori is not their first language must also have an IELTS (Academic or General) score of 5.0 with no band score lower than 5.0, or equivalent.

You can study this programme part-time if you’re an international student living in New Zealand. You will need to be in paid employment with a valid work permit. You can study this programme if you’re an international student living overseas, or a domestic citizen living overseas. Courses in this programme are delivered online. This means you will access course material and submit assessments online. Our online courses may include reading, videos, quizzes or activities, and you may need to download content.

For online learning and assessments, you need:

• Regular access to a computer
• Reliable internet and data plan.
