It provides you with contextual and product knowledge for specialist roles within the general insurance sector. It enables you to apply knowledge of risk management and insurance concepts, products, processes and regulation to the provision of general insurance services.

Students who successfully complete this course will be able to
- Recognise environmental, technical, procedural and risk management factors that impact on general insurance advice.
- Evaluate the suitability of general insurance products, structures and options in terms of their benefits, risks, limitations, and potential non-insurance solutions.
- Apply environmental, technical, procedural and risk management factors in general insurance context.
- Apply the six-step advice process in a general insurance context.
