Teacher Research and Inquiry 2

You will explore research and inquiry frameworks that enable you to investigate and critique policy and practice issues. You will continue to extend your knowledge and skills to read and interpret research and literature to support a critical analysis of an issue impacting the learning of tamariki (children) and identify implications for developing the practice of kaiako (teachers).

Students who successfully complete this course will be able to:

• Discuss the ethical principles and requirements of educational research and inquiry including Māori and Pacific methodologies
• Discuss research and inquiry frameworks and their contribution to transformative teaching practice
• Use a research and inquiry approach to examine a teaching dilemma or issue and communicate the findings.
