If you’ve graduated with the New Zealand Diploma in Business, you have the opportunity to fast track to a Bachelor of Business through our Advanced Standing Pathway programme.

What do I need to do first?

Firstly you need to have completed the specific New Zealand Diploma in Business courses in the table below.

If you have not completed any of the following courses you can still apply for this programme and complete the corresponding Bachelor of Business course shown in the table below.

Then what do I need to do?

To complete your Bachelor of Business under the Advanced Standing Pathway programme you will need to choose a major and complete the courses listed under the major you select.

71301  Advanced Financial Accounting
71302 Advanced Management Accounting
71305  Auditing
71306  Taxation

If you have not completed 501 Accounting Practices, 601 Financial Accounting and 602 Management Accounting under NZ Diploma in Business you need to complete the relevant Bachelor of Business course.

If you wish to satisfy CA requirements for Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand membership, you must complete 71210 Corporate & Finance Law and 71205 Business Finance (if you did not complete
603 Business Finance in your New Zealand Diploma in Business).

To fast track your study, apply for admission today.

We will review your application and be in touch to let you know if it has been successful. Once your application for admission has been accepted, you can enrol in the Bachelor of Business with advanced standing.

You will have five years to complete a single major and six years to complete a double major from the date of your first enrolment.
