When you graduate with the Bachelor of Applied Science Environment major, you will have the theoretical and practical understanding to:

  • apply environmental principles and legislation to practical situations involving the protection and use of natural resources
  • evaluate policy and management approaches to resolve environmental problems
  • contribute to identifying and implementing effective actions to achieve sustainable environmental outcomes.

You may find career opportunities in central or local government, public interest groups and private sector organisations, working in planning, policy analysis, resource management, research, consultancy or environmental education.
