To enrol in this continuing professional development programme, you need to be working in an engineering-related role and have a degree-level engineering qualification or equivalent professional experience.
In addition, you need to meet the entry requirements for each selected course, or have an exemption granted.
Students for whom English or Māori is not their first language must also have an IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0 with no band score lower than 5.5, or equivalent.

The Certificate of Achievement in Engineering will be successfully completed when two courses in the schedule of courses are successfully completed.
No formal certification will be awarded, however you may request an Academic Transcript. And the courses you study can be credited towards the Bachelor of Engineering Technology.
This programme is delivered online. To complete this programme you will need access to a laptop or desktop computer, reliable broadband internet connection and a data plan able to support online learning such as streaming of videos (including YouTube), downloading content, and writing and submitting online assessments.
