The Certificate of Achievement in Engineering will enable you to maintain your professional competence as an engineer or gain knowledge in another field of engineering. It also fulfils the requirements of continuing professional development for IPENZ members.
Approximately 10-12 hours study per week for each 20 credit course. This may be higher at assessment or exam time.
Approximate cost for the full qualification based on 2018 fee information, not including annual administration fees, fee increases, textbooks, course materials or external exam fees.

The Certificate of Achievement in Engineering is made up of courses from the Bachelor of Engineering Technology. To successfully achieve the qualification, you need to complete two courses. Please note that you will not be awarded formal certification upon completion. However, the courses you study can be credited towards the Bachelor of Engineering Technology.
