You can help to make a real difference in the world with an environmental qualification from Open Polytechnic. This programme will build on the skills you learnt in the Certificate in Environmental Management (Level 6). It will give you a broad knowledge of resource management legislation, New Zealand's environment, how and why environmental problems arise and ways to address them. If you have achieved the Certificate in Environmental Management, you only need to study three more courses to achieve this diploma.

New Students

OP6214 Diploma in Environmental Management (Level 6) will close to new student enrolments on 23 October 2017.

If you wish to enrol in this programme, please apply to enrol in Trimester 3 before 23 October 2017.

Open Polytechnic will not be taking any new student enrolments in this programme from Trimester 1, 2018. Please note, to be awarded this qualification you will need to have completed all six courses that make up the programme at the end of Trimester 2, 2019.

Current Students

If you were already enrolled in OP6214 Diploma in Environmental Management (Level 6) prior to 23 October 2017, you can continue to enrol in your next course as normal to complete your qualification.

Please note, you must be enrolled in your last course/s by Trimester 2, 2019 to complete this qualification.
