You’ll gain basic counselling skills and learn about key theories and perspectives in psychology and communication.

While this diploma won’t let you to become registered or practise counselling, it will give you an introduction to some of the skills required.

OP5350 Diploma in Health and Human Behaviour (Level 5) is closed to new students.

Current Students

If you were already enrolled in OP5350 Diploma in Health and Human Behaviour (Level 5) up to and including Trimester 1 2019, you can continue to enrol in your next course as normal to complete your qualification.

Please note you must be enrolled in your last course/s by Trimester 3 2020, and have completed all 6 courses that make up the programme by the end of that trimester to be awarded the qualification.

Recognition of prior learning

Recognition of Prior Learning is how we recognise any self-learning and experience you have gained in the workplace.

If you have relevant knowledge or experience that you think will exempt you from having to do some parts of this qualification you can apply for RPL. You will need to provide evidence that you have already met the learning outcomes of the course you want to be exempted from. This evidence could be testimonials or references from appropriately experienced referees.

You can apply for RPL after you have enrolled.
