If you’re interested in what influences human behaviour and would like to have a better understanding of people and relationships, the Diploma in Psychology may be the right qualification for you. Psychology is the science of behaviour that helps to explain what happens in people’s minds to influence their behaviour. The programme will give you a comprehensive introduction to the psychology discipline and you’ll gain research, analysis, synthesis and evaluation skills that are essential for a career in psychology.
You may be able to study our new applied degree pathway which will give you practical skills to help people who are experiencing addiction issues.
Our new pathway is also recognised by professional association, Addiction Practitioners Association of Aotearoa, New Zealand (DAPAANZ), who were established to represent the professional interests of addiction services practitioners nationwide.
