The Certificate in Quality Assurance, offered in conjunction with the New Zealand Organisation for Quality (NZOQ), will give you the skills to manage and improve processes within organisations.
Approximately 10-12 hours study per course per week.

Quality assurance principles are essential for the smooth day-to-day operation of businesses, particularly service and manufacturing firms, whose success depends on customer loyalty and satisfaction. If you were already enrolled in this programme before 24 November 2017, you can continue to enrol in your next course/s as normal to complete your qualification.
You will need to have completed all courses by 31 December 2019.
We recommend you enrol in your last course/s by 1 May 2019 at the latest to ensure you have enough time to successfully complete all of the coursework. If you need help with a study plan to complete the certificate in this timeframe, please get in touch.
What you will learn
When you achieve this qualification you will know how to:
- add value to an organisation with modern quality management concepts, tools and techniques
- use statistical information and Six Sigma to enhance the quality of performance, products and services
integrate environmental management and occupational health and safety into quality systems
- use stakeholder feedback to improve a product or service.
This qualification will prepare you for a career in specialist quality roles, supervisory and management positions or areas like auditing, evaluation and implementation of organisational systems and quality improvement.
You may be able to study the Graduate Diploma in Quality Systems (Level 7) from Massey University once you have achieved this qualification.
