If you’re interested in sustainability and New Zealand ecology, this is an ideal qualification to get started with so that you can gain an understanding of how humans and the environment depend on each other. You will learn about New Zealand’s unique natural environment, different approaches to ecosystem management in New Zealand, and how to fix resource management issues.

If you were already enrolled in OP5213 Certificate in Environment and Sustainability (Level 5) prior to 23 October 2017 with Open Polytechnic, you can continue to enrol in your next course to complete your qualification. 

Please note, you must be enrolled in your last course/s by Trimester 2, 2019 to complete this qualification.
