If you want to become a licensed agent of your own real estate agency or get fully qualified in real estate, the National Diploma in Real Estate (Agent) is the right qualification for you. This programme will build on your existing skills and experience in real estate and will enable you to apply for your real estate agent’s license with the Real Estate Authority (REA) when you graduate (if you have worked for 3 of the previous ten years in a New Zealand real estate agency with a salesperson’s licence).

Once you have completed the ND1731 Diploma in Real Estate (Agent) (Level 5) you may be interested in further study at degree level in a business or property-related discipline.
Please note that this qualification will only enable you to apply for a real estate agent’s licence in New Zealand as the course content has been designed specifically for the New Zealand real estate industry.
