Programme Update

New Students

The Open Polytechnic is no longer able to accept new enrolments for this programme.

New students who are seeking to obtain skills and knowledge in soil composition, structure and texture, plant processes and plant propagation are advised to apply to enrol in OP3306 Certificate of Achievement in Environmental Management of Plants and Soils. This programme is offered fees-free.

This certificate is an achievement award that does not directly lead to a New Zealand qualification however tertiary providers may credit the components after reviewing and mapping the content assessed against course/s within a formal qualification. The Open Polytechnic recognises completion of OP3306 as being equivalent to completing the HOR300 and HOR301 towards NZ2677 New Zealand Certificate in Horticulture (General) (Level 3).
