What you will learn

Upon successful completion of this micro-credential, you will be able to:

  • Critically analyse stakeholders' needs to define a real-world issue within a creative technology context.    
  • Apply design thinking skills to utilise creative technology tools to assist innovative content strategy to address the validated real-world issue.  
  • Apply agile design and development techniques to integrate creative tools to create creative workflows to address a real-world issue.  
  • Apply user acceptance testing techniques to refine creative concepts and make data-driven refinements based on creative technology tooling insights. 
  • Apply project management techniques to plan, refine, and present the creative project, incorporating stakeholder feedback and key features of tools and workflows.
  • Critically evaluate the creative technology assisted project outcome to identify key learnings for future career development in creative technology discipline. 

Delivery and support

This micro-credential is delivered in a blended format, combining online learning with in-person sessions at Tātaki Auckland Unlimited – Te Puna Creative Innovation Quarter.  

Assessment

The courses are 100% internally assessed. ICT701 and ICT702 have one assessment, ICT703 has two assessments.
