Students who successfully complete this course will be able to:

  • Describe the strategies and skills that enhance interpersonal communications when funeral directing
  • Describe conflict resolution strategies and a rationale for their use in professional funeral directing practice.
  • Communicate effectively with bereaved families, whānau and peripheral service providers to meet their wishes, needs and cultural expectations.
