The major part of this course comprises experience with a range of advanced electronic test equipment, electromagnetic compatibility measurements and automatic test equipment programmed with a graphical programme language. Some time will be devoted to electrical machinery and power systems. Training and experience will also be provided on working in teams and on the social context in which engineering is performed, as well as investigating the ethical aspects of the electrical engineering industry.
Attending a practice unit at the University of South Queensland (USQ) in Australia is a requirement of this course.
