Construction Methods

This course aims to give a working knowledge of the methods and techniques commonly used in Civil Engineering construction.  It covers preliminary works, foundations, soil compaction and stabilisation, asphalt and concrete production and plant, concrete construction and prestressed concrete fundamentals, timber and steel construction, preservation of structures, and dam, road, railway, bridge and airport construction.
