Learners who successfully complete this course will be able to:
- Process manually a wide range of transactions to the trial balance stage, including for a GST registered business
- Prepare financial statements excluding balance day adjustments
- Apply tax rules for individuals to ensure compliance
- Apply tax rules for small businesses to ensure compliance

Assessment for this course is:
- 50% internally assessed
- 50% examination.
