Horticulture Graduate and landscape designer, Bayley LuuTomes, has been awarded a silver medal at the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show in London last week.
Bayley exhibited alongside 600 internationally renowned landscape designers at the show, the largest of its kind in the world, where he represented New Zealand with his exhibition, entitled, Native Shower.
Bayley says he gave it his very best and had an amazing time building the exhibition which took two weeks to complete.
“I have learnt a lot during my experience and have had a great response from the public here on my native New Zealand theme,” he says.
Although only being a landscape designer for 5 months, Bayley has enjoyed great success in his short career including winning two gold medals at the Ellerslie International Flower Show earlier in the year.
He has also been selected to represent New Zealand at the Gardening World Cup in Japan in October this year.
Bayley achieved the National Certificate in Horticulture (Level 4) through the Open Polytechnic in March.
