School of Health & Social Sciences – Te Kura Hauora, Putaiao Papori

The School of Health and Social Sciences offers a range of qualifications at certificate, diploma and degree level  in  communication, humanities, information and library studies, mental health, pharmacy, psychology, social sciences, social work and sterilising technology.

The School offers three degrees: the Bachelor of Arts, which includes a range of interdisciplinary Open University of the United Kingdom Humanities and Social Sciences courses; the Bachelor of Applied Science; and the Bachelor of Social Work.

All of our qualifications have been created in close consultation with industry and stakeholder groups to ensure they give graduates the skills they need in the workplace. They have also been informed by the research undertaken by our academic staff.
