What you will learn

When you complete this course you will be able to:

  • critically evaluate theories of human development, as a means of determining how major theories aid understanding of child and adolescent development
  • critically evaluate research into child and adolescent development.
  • identify and explain developmental processes
  • discuss how biological, psychological and environmental factors impact on child and adolescent development
  • make predictions about child and adolescent development based on your own analysis of case studies and theoretical explanations.
