This qualification can be studied by distance learning or in workshops. The qualification is open for admission throughout the year and each course starts on the first Monday of the month you choose for enrolment. When your enrolment is confirmed, you will receive a letter with your course start and end dates. You must complete your study within the given start and end dates.
If you choose to attend the interactive workshops and study intensively we expect that it will take approximately ten weeks to complete the qualification. This timeframe includes the two 4-day workshop blocks, a study week, then a further 4-day workshop and independent study after the completion of the workshops. You will have the support of your tutor by phone or email for the duration of your study.
All units have a credit value. This helps you work out how much study time you will need. You need to allow about 10 hours of study per credit. For example a five credit unit standard generally requires 50 hours of study.
