What is colour? How is it created in nature? How is it affected by luminosity and texture? You will look at these questions and study the properties of colour which are defined by hue, value, intensity, tint, shade and tone. You will understand the personality of colour, the difference between cool and warm colours, how the colour wheel works, and factors to consider when selecting colours and planning a scheme. The nine design activities within this course provide an opportunity for you to play with colour and learn about its many facets.
