Before your exam

Examination Timetable
Lists dates and times for examinations.
Note: Check your Admittance Slip details carefully. Examination dates and times are not flexible.

Examination Venues List
Lists venues within New Zealand. If you are unable to attend the venue allocated on your Admittance Slip, contact exams@openpolytechnic.ac.nz to arrange an alternative venue. Changes will not be accepted within 14 days of the examination date.

Information for Examination Candidates

Approved Examination Material

Application for Aegrotat Consideration
For students who are unable to attend the examination or having sat their examination, their performance was impaired due to injury, illness or trauma.

Examination Resit Application
Applications must be received by Open Polytechnic not later than 20 working days after official notification of your course result.  Your Final Result Notification will  show the closing date for applications.  Applications must be accompanied by the prescribed fee.

Application for Recount/Reconsideration and Return of Marked Exam Script
Applications must be received not later than 10 working days after receipt of Final Result Notifications and accompanied by the prescribed fee, where applicable.  Your Final Result Notification will show the closing date for applications.
